The Quavadis Project

QUAVADIS is a pan-european initiative to improve the Quality and Use Aspects of Vehicle Adaptations for DISabled.

Project objectives
Establishing the website for Car Adaptation Information for Europe is one of QUAVADIS methods to reach the project goals. The overall objectives of the project are:

Project results
The main results of the project are a description of the procedures for obtaining or renewing a driving licence for citizens with a (physical) disability in the different Member States of the European Community, and an extensive Code of Practice for car adaptations structured in line with the list of harmonised Community codes on the driving licence. All results of the QUAVADIS project are described in the Final Report and much is included on the European Car-Adaptation Website.

QUAVADIS is partly funded by the European Commission DG-TREN (Directorate-General for Energy and Transport).
