Vehicle Adaptation Products

This part of the website is intended to give information of commercially available products for each of the (sub) codes on the list of the harmonised Community codes.

All manufacturers that produce car-adaptations for the European market are invited to submit products to be included on this part of the website.

The following information should be submitted:

• product details
  product name, type, photograph, etc.
• manufacturers details
  company name, address, phone, fax, email, website, etc.
• subcode details
  stating for what subcodes the product can be applied
• quality details
  to underpin that the product meets safety and performance criteria, as checked for example by the car-adaptation company, test institutes, vehicle inspection and/or homologation authorities. Where possible, the quality details should give reference to the criteria that are used to assess the product (e.g. directives, standards, etc.) and statements whether or not the product meets the applicable parts of these criteria.

Inclusion of product information on the website is subject to acceptance. All products included on this website have to meet minimum safety and performance criteria. At present, these minimum criteria are the Evaluation Criteria given in the Code of Practise on this website. It is envisaged that these criteria will be extended over the coming years after consultation with relevant industry and authorities.
